1.      State and prove parallelogram law of forces.

2.      A simply supported beam 6 m long is carrying a uniformly distributed load of 5 kN/m over a length of 3 m from the right end. Draw the shear force (S.F.) & bending moment (B.M.) and also calculate the maximum B. M. on the section..

3.      Three collinear horizontal forces of magnitude 200 N, 100 N and 300 N are acting on a rigid body. Determine the resultant of the forces analytically when.

i.        The force 100 N acts in the opposite direction.

4.      Define Beams? Give the classification of beams?
